I have never been one to share my thoughts or feelings on the internet. As long as I can remember my journals have been for the eyes of family members only. Aside from the typical fears of judgement, rejection, and criticism I simply never felt passionately enough about anything to warrant publishing a blog. The journals I have written about my recreation and travels would later serve for reflection, if nothing else, and memory recall. In any matter, Ive decided to share some stories about my photos and about me; where I come from, where I have been, and the images that bestowed my emotions along the way.

The Old Summit Chair
A right of passage is a ceremony or event marking an important step in ones life. For those who rode the old summit lift, it is accompanied by the terror that comes with loading this loud, unslowable, Evel Knievel ramp sending chairlift that left many bruised, broken and battered. Luckily we have soft snow. But riding this lift meant you were destined to become better at skiing because there was no easy terrain at the top and downloading isn’t an option. While loading the thing was a skill to master, so was getting down the steep groomers or even steeper cliff faces peppered throughout the mountain. But that was the best part of all.
